Global Warming
Our school does nothing for global warming, we do not have any solar pannels and no water collecting areas or wind power being implemented. The only thing that i can think of that our school does is that it recycles. Our school recycles paper and other types of bottle from the rest of the garbage that goes intio the land fill. This means that we can reuse paper that we have alread used and then it goes to the recycling plant and can be turned back into normal paper ready to be used once again. The Austin American Statesman uses this, they recycle their old papers and the papers that come out looking darker are papers that have been recycled more than the light colors. We have not discussed much in class in the past two weeks, but what we did discuss that it was bad for the environment and the animals that live in the ecosystem. We know that we have to do something quick for the environment otherwise the environment will suffer the concequince.

I completely agree to your blog, we need to do more as a school if we want to make a positive impact on the environment. By the way, this blog sounds very similar to mine. Great minds think alike I guess.
ReplyDeleteThis is really great Chris. Your blog is very true. Our school doesn't do a whole lot to stop global warming, but the Green Club does try its hand at planting trees and plants to help the environment a little bit. We recycle quite a bit, as you said, and thats pretty nice. We don't do a whole lot to stop global warming, but it's good that we try a little bit.
